Welcome Fall In South East Boise
Welcome Fall in South East Boise
As the mornings grow crisp and cold, and the days shorten, I head down stairs to the basement to get out my bins of fall decor. For the past few years, I have started to head outside to collect acorns, dried summer grasses, and berried branches as well. The combination of natural elements with faux items creates a rustic and homey feeling. Most of what I find that needs cut is from our own yard, except the acorns. The kids and I enjoy going to one of our many local parks to find those beauties!
A perfect afternoon activity in SE Boise is to stop by Locavore for a warm drink, like a creamy latte. Then drive to one of our wonderful local parks, like Baggley Park, Quarry View Park, or Helen B. Lowder. If you bring your kids with you, they can run and play on the equipment, or help you collect acorns from the many oak trees.
Living in SE Boise, you could also take a stroll in the nature preserve of Marianne Williams Park. Stroll along the Boise River, or along the greenbelt path. You will see many bike riders, dog walkers, and fellow nature lovers out enjoying the cool afternoons. The ponds with fountains in the middle, gazebos, and many benches make it a welcoming spot to spend time. I hope one day I will run into YOU there!
And as always, I am never too busy for your referrals!
Until next time,
